The 2015 Mitsubishi L200 made its debut at the Geneva Auto Show earlier this month, after weeks of build-up anticipation. The auto company claims that the new L200 is the safest model yet, and that’s saying something for a vehicle already well known for its safety specs.
Toughness was definitely not sacrificed for safety, with the 2015 L200 scoring highly on both fronts. A 2.4-litre diesel engine with two outputs gives the new L200 an option of boasting 151 horsepower or even 178.
Plus, Mitsubishi has significantly lowered the amount of CO2 emitted from the L200 from its predecessor, dropping from 199g/km to 169g/km. In fact, one of the only things that the new L200 has with the previous model is similar, classic styling.
The 2015 Mitsubishi L200 debut at the show included info on how the car drives as well, smoothly conquering snowy conditions and off-roading factors with full-time four-wheel drive and stability control.
So between the hardiness, safety ratings and environmentally friendly engine, what more could you want in a truck? What do you think of the new L200? Let us know your thoughts here at Pete Moore Mitsubishi in the comments.
