Along with the holiday season, the season of giving is upon us. As the year winds to a close, people and businesses come together to help out their communities by donating time and/or resources to local charities in need. While we at Pete Moore Mitsubishi support all forms of giving, we particularly want to highlight a charity that we proudly support and whose work warms our hearts at this time of year.
Manna Food Pantries has a network of locations in the Pensacola area in order to serve multiple communities in need. Their mission statement reads as follows: “To offer emergency food assistance, service the food-related needs of vulnerable populations, and engage the entire community in the fight against hunger,” and we at Pete Moore Mitsubishi are proud to join the fight to solve hunger in the Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Through numerous programs, Manna works to serve both children and the elderly, as they are among the most vulnerable.
There are many ways to support Manna Food Pantries and help their work and service flourish. You can volunteer, donate food, host a food drive, or donate money to their Capitol Campaign to help fully equip their space with what they need to store and distribute food and therefore carry out their mission. Visit www.mannahelps.org for more information and to learn how to give back during this holiday season.
