Pete Moore Mitsubishi proudly gives back to our community here in Pensacola through donations, sponsorships, and other charitable efforts. You can see a full list of the charities that we sponsor here on our website, but this week, we wanted to highlight an organization that is doing great work in Pensacola: Covenant Care Hospice.
Covenant Care is currently serving 50 different communities in Alabama and Florida, including Pensacola, and offers a variety of services to patients in all stages of life, including Alzheimer’s care, palliative care, home care, and hospice, as well as special programs for veterans and children.
Specifically, Covenant hospice care ensures our loved ones don’t lose their quality of life when they transition from seeking a cure to enjoying what time they have remaining. Covenant hospice’s end-of-life care is Open Access, which means patients can receive hospice service benefits while simultaneously seeking treatments against illness.
The hospice care team at Covenant is committed to providing comfort and relief. The team consists of various roles, including medical doctors and registered nurses, as well personal care aides, social workers, spiritual care coordinators, and bereavement specialists. The final part of the team, of course, is volunteers. Find out how you can volunteer at Covenant’s website.
